It’s our eighth birthday. Being so close to our tenth birthday makes us think that a long time has gone by. This year is looking good, trying to live up to what we have already done. We really liked it that last year we went for an unknown name for TMDG’s audience, like HORT was. And we had a great reply. It is fantastic to see that, to see a receptive audience, who trusts our criteria well beyond the names of any other festival.

For this reason, this year we are indulging in some things, we are introducing names that perhaps are not sounding loud these days but who are definitively doing things worth showing, people with message that we cannot overlook.

After TMDG, the following day, that is, Mar del Plata looks empty, silent. The concept of a city taken over by designers is euphoric. For a lot of people, it is terrifying, but living it is generating.

The energy of the sea, the collective curiosity, 5000 beings thinking of the same thing for three days. Awakening.

It makes us feel really well to be a part of this. We love that we can still invite you to our monster without knowing what will happen there. That is chance, the flow, the random element, the risk, the surprise, what makes us enjoy each edition, and what leaves us motivated to starting putting together the next one.
